The Sportsmen's Americana Music Foundation celebrates the roots-music talent of Buffalo and Western New York — and channels it into hands-on music education for children in underserved communities.

100% of the funds raised through sponsorships and special placement fees on the calendar go directly to SAMF.

We foster, promote and expand community appreciation for Americana music from Buffalo and Western New York — through performances, broadcast events, seminars and workshops. We do it alongside the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, the Love Supreme School, the Valley Community Association, the Old First Ward Community Center, Child & Adolescent Treatment Centers, and the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Hundreds of young Western New Yorkers have received free lessons in instruments, voice, and performance — aimed squarely at the communities that need it most.
From the SAMF Summer Fest at Sportsmens Park to monthly Foundation Nights at the Tavern, our events celebrate the region's songwriters while funding the mission.
Members fund the music — and get free concert tickets, the Win-Win Raffle, member discounts around town, and first access to the SAMF store and vinyl sales.
